Mark your calendars for Reliant Park World Series of Dog Shows!  There will be several rescue and adoption orgs at the show, so you can adopt!  Yes, there are AKC rescue groups if you are looking for specific breeds to adopt.

Visit one of the finest indoor dog shows in America held in Houston's Reliant Center. Along with breed judging and obedience, you'll discover agility dogs racing over obstacle courses, flyball teams hurdling to beat the clock, and four-footed athletes catching Frisbees and dancing to music. Special guest Linda Oliva, veterinarian in northwest Houston for 25 years, will discuss: Where to take your dog in the summer, dog safety, how to tell if your dog is overheating and heading for a problem, how to fit your dog for a life jacket, how to fit your dog for boots and learning when they need to be wearing them and when they shouldn't.

We have wonderful news.  Candy's puppies featured on May's cover of Texas Dogs and Cats Magazine. have been adopted.  Now, we are just looking for a loving home for Candy mama.
